If it were up to me, I'd probably go to the Maryland Dairy but location wise it doesn't make sense since it's now located in Stamp and since it closes by 8:30 at night. Anyway, I love that Cold Stone stays open until 10:00 pm. Cold Stone has been my go-to store for when I have the munchies to grab some ice-cream. And I love that there is a student discount, for student people. The employees are nice too. :)

This was my first time ordering a cake from this Cold stone. I decided to try them on a Groupon because my son was having his birthday event in Laurel. The did an awful job on my cake and to say I had to pay an additional $22.50 with Groupon for a cake that looked like a 3rd grader made it was disappointing. I will never use this location again. It was uneven and the icing was not done well. The lettering on the cake was the worse.

I used a group on for Themed 1st birthday cake of my daughter. The staff over the phone and in person were very very helpful. It was my first ever cake from cold stone. I choose Micky mouse cake design and the flavour was butter pecan much with caramel over yellow cake. Oh my GOD, the cake design, taste and even the birthday msg written over it was so so unexpectiflty great. I loved everything about the cake and so do the guests. The cake cost me 28 dollars including the group on and it served 8 people fully. Higly recommend the place .

Understaffed and dirty. They had three days to simply write happy birthday on an ice cream cake. The one person working there started it 20 minutes after I arrived. He wrote with the wrong color and didn't bother to tell me they were out of that specific color before writing with it on the cake. And the name was wrong. Fortunately, I checked the cake before leaving, but the guy became angry when I asked him to fix it. The writing was sloppy. The cake says "Happg Birlhday" now. He wouldn't redo it because he was the only one there...if that can even be an acceptable excuse. Do yourself a favor. If you're getting a cake for a special occasion, go the extra few miles to a different cold stone.

I got the groupon deal for their cake for an upcoming birthday. Also used a code and got 20% off. So it was the perfect deal. This was my first time coming here. There were not many people that night but staff was very friendly. I asked them to put the message and they did so happily. Overall a great experience.

Boo :( It was so understaffed that we ended up leaving without getting any ice cream. 10 PM on a Tuesday, and there was only one person working. Doesn't sound like it would be a problem, but there were five people ahead of us. When we heard the worker tell the person ordering that it would be five minutes to get their milkshake, we were like, alright, let's cut our losses now... Too bad, seems like a really popular spot.

Coldstone has great ice cream, so this review is mainly about this location. Every time I actually go, there's only one person working and the line is fairly long. Aside from the wait, there aren't many negatives. I love the sweet cream mixed with graham pie crust. Though their ice cream is definitely pricey.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am a former employee for about 2 days. After watching the disgusting way on which they make the ice cream and all the flies in the back WHERE THEY MAKE IT!! After seeing how everything worked I decided that the job wasn't for me. I suggest finding a more cleaner and sanitary shop.

I ordered the coffee and heath bar but the girl was having a hard time scooping out the ice cream because it was so hard. So I substituted it with cake batter...not a good choice but I still ate it anyway! Maybe it wasn't a good idea to have coffee ice cream at 9 p.m. anyway. The service was good and there was a small crowd there. Only thing is, they have meter parking so it's best to come late on the weekend because it's free.

This place is good. They chop up the candy into the ice cream. I also am a big fan of heath bars. Recently, I was very impressed to find that they had a choice of tangy yogurt. I hadn't had a chance to get to the other places and was driving through College Park, so I figured I would see if they had it. There was only one flavor, but I really liked it. If I had been thinking, I imagine you can get anything chopped into that as well. I did like it plain though.

So... my roommate and I have a tradition of getting a Coldstone cake every 2 weeks or so and have a slice before we go to bed (yes, we're fat kids at heart). It's an expensive and fattening habit, but try it. Your happiness will increase tenfold. You will also sleep better at night. (Warning: these statements have not been proven but I will swear by them anyway) So on the menu hanging up, they have this Chocolate Devotion ice cream cake, yet none in the freezer. The person working there said you have to custom order it 24 hours before it will be ready. So I said fine and put in my order. I asked him if I could pay when I picked it up but he told me store policy was you had to pay when you put in the order. So I did. He wrote my order in magic marker on the back of a receipt, along with my first name, and I told him to take down my phone number also. And I said cya in 24 hours. I came back at 7pm the next day, 26 hours later, and the same guy helped me. He looked worried and said they forgot to make my cake and to come back the next day. Came back the next day and it was still not made. They forgot again. The guy promised me he would make it before closing and I could pick it up the next day. I left again, no cake in hand. I came back the next day around 5 and the cake was not ready. He said the person who was supposed to ice it forgot to, but it would be done by the end of the night. So I said see cya in 5 hours. When I came back later, it was not done. He said to come back the next day. Went there the next day at 7pm when we agreed and the lady was icing it right as I was standing there. She said it would need time to freeze again and asked what topping decorations I wanted on it. I told her the ones in the picture would be fine. Came back 2 hours later, it was done thank goodness! I told her what happened and asked if I could have a free ice cream to compensate my troubles and she agreed. So I left double-fisting with a cake and a Cookie-Don't-You-Want-Some. I worked for Carvel a few years ago so I know how an ice cream place, where people order cakes, should function. The fact that they wrote my order on the back of a receipt was my first sign of trouble on the water-- this place is poorly managed. For a chain, they should have some sort of system in place for taking cake orders. And if corporate doesn't have one, then they should create one. It's not that hard. Have a notebook of orders and make sure certain people on certain shifts are assigned to do the various cake-making tasks. It's not that hard. So four days later I got my cake (which they made me pay for the day I ordered it Monday, and I got it Friday) even though it was only supposed to take 24 hours. I was having serious doubts about whether I would get this cake at all. I'm happy I did, but pissed with their disorganization. What if it was actually someone's birthday?? This situation is unacceptable and easily avoidable. If you are looking to get your ice cream, its fine. You are going to get the same "ice cream blob of treats" as any other Coldstone. But if you need more than that, buyer beware. If you are ordering a cake, either get one from the freezer or order it days in advance. That's my warning!
